The coordinators of the ImAc, EasyTV, Content4ALL and SIGN-HUB organized a workshop “Beyond Media and Convergence accessibility cluster: a European perspective on accessibility” in the frame of Accessibility Cluster as part of the Media Convergence and Social Media Concertation Meeting organized by the European Commission.
The workshop was jointly organized by the coordinators of the ImAc, EasyTV, Content4ALL and SIGN-HUB projects with the aim of presenting each project goals, their current achievements and future developments. This facilitated networking and interaction among the projects coordinators and selected distinguished stakeholders, among others Policy Makers, User Organization representatives, European Commission representatives.
The workshop took place on the afternoon of Tuesday February 5th in Room 0/S1, Avenue De Beaulieu 25, 1160 Brussels, Belgium with the following agenda:
13.30 – 14.45 Forewords and chairing by a representative of EDF; ImAc, EasyTV, Content4ALL and SIGN-HUB individual presentations.
14.45 – 15.45 Projects demo, videos, posters and space for interaction
15.45 – 16.15 Coffee break and end of the public session (all guests leave)
The workshop continued with a private session reserved to the members of the four projects to explore interactions and synergies among the different projects.
The event was chaired by Alejandro Moledo, Head of Policy at the European Disability Forum (EDF)
